How do u take out the side mirrors?

How do u take out the side mirrors?

How do u take out the side mirror lenses. Not the assembly but the lense. I have new lenses and I want to put them in but I dont know how to take the old lenses out?????
anyone have a how to link?
I can install long tubes, shocks, and cams but the serious stuff I need some help on.

so no one has ever changed mirror lenses?

I was told that is all one peice. My passenger side mirror lense is cracked down the middle but I dont wanna hassle with taking everything off and have it painted and ect...

As I understand it, you have to snap the lens holder off the motor pack. Adjust the mirror way to the outboard side, so you can get your finger(s) behind it to pull out. You would then have to remove the glass from the holder, put the new glass on it and then line it up and snap it back on with the palm of your hand. Of course, you have to keep from "snapping" anything that is not supposed to snap.
