How do i stop arching??(need help fast)

Arrow How do i stop arching??(need help fast)

I tell you what if its not one thing its another. got jet hot lt's and taylor ovc plug wires i also replaced my plugs with ngk tr55's. In the past month i have replaced opti,waterpump and fuel pump and 02 sensor. Now i have arching i think thats what its called anyway. when u can see the spark jump from the plug or wire maybe???? to the header how can i stop this and has it caused any harm to my wires plugs etc. please tell me i just need some boot covers or something if so where can i get them from?? thanks for the help and please respond quick gotta go back to college tomorrow morning

If you know where the crack in the wire is, you can put a blob of high temp silicone on the wire and it will fix the problem until you can get new wires installed. Just make sure the wire is not on your header. In anycase that plug wire is toast.

u have to be kiddin i just payed to get them installed. i cant afford another 100dollars for the wires and 40 for the boots and another 40 for the install again omg i hate my car

how bad will it hurt my car if i run with it like that for awhile it doesnt really act up that bad just a little when at idle

You will survive if it is just that much, just that you are losing spark energy to ground. Excessive missing could harm your cats from too much fuel being dumped into the exhaust. Gotta keep those wires away from the headers.

Oh, and it is arcing.

and the thing i dont understand is that they are a far away as they can be from the headers not even close to touching should i just buy those boots taylor makes??
