Raise the car atleast to a set of ramps. Take off the starter, oil filter, dipstick tube etc, basically anything in the way of getting them in.

The passenger side will be the hardest and you will have to undo the through bolt on the motor mount and raise the motor a couple inches to get it to go in. The driver side should just slip in.

The higher you get the car the better.

ehh

raise car 2 feet, remove oil dipstick, starter, altinator, steering linkage, old manifolds, AIR pump, EGR stuff. both slide right in from the bottom, simple.

i was told to remove oil filter and jack the engine, this was not needed.

No, that can stay where it is. Taking off the steering linkage wouldnt be a bad idea also. Some have gotten it in without removing it though.

Plugs need to be out also.
