hello, i just installed my AS&M headers (not as difficult as what i expected, i installed them completely by myself) i have a couple of clearance issues: 1st: the #1 primary is within a quarter of an inch of the driver's side fender well and very close to the brake lines. (i also changed both motor mounts during the header install) 2nd: the y pipe rattles against the front of the oil pan while the car is idiling. how can i fix this problem??? please help me!!!

 

well with the rattle you could use a header jacket not a wrap but a jacket and stap a peice where it rattles. i just used that on my headers and it's pretty thick stuff. it would stop the rattle.

they got it in jegs and summit. it's made by thermo tec it's headers jackets. it's about 75.00 for a box but there's a lot there. i only used half of it when i covered my mac headers. and i would of sold you the rest but i just sold it on ebay for $25. but if they guy dosn't reply back i can sell it toy you if you want. it would be cheaper if thats all your going to use it for.
