I assume you mean other than what your guage is saying??

I guess you could try using an oil guage that has a tube instead of a sensor and tap into you oil system at the sensor.

Is something wrong with your guage??

Correct. I think my oil guage is malfunctioning. I was getting readings of over 40psi until last weekend when I changed my clutch. Now I do not get readings of over 10psi and thats on the startup.

Where can I get one of these guages that you are referring to?

I would imagine you should be abel to go to any local auto parts store and ask for one,, if your guage is malfunctioning why not just change the oil pressure sending unit as that is what it most likely is?? With that fixed you are done, I really wouldn't start with a different guage. On your engine is your sending unit down by your oil filter like my 93 or is it up top? If it is down below maybe you knocked the wire loose or damaged the sending unit when you did your clutch. I would try and get my OEM guage working again before I went to an aftermarket guage.

The guage went down completely below 0psi today!

It doesn't even move when the rpm's increase anymore, yet I'm still getting no tapping.

I believe I will try a new sending unit....as soon as I get the money to buy it.

guage

The sending unit is at the back of the intake kind of on the driver's side. It would be very easy for it to have the wire broken or slipped off during a clutch change with the engine hanging down.It may have broken the sender also.It could have broken the electrical part (plastic) to stop the guage from working and not cause an oil leak.
With a light you can see it at the very back edge of the intake. It will take a special socket to change it.
