anyone used a ram air box and lid on a LT1 z28. i am going to use all the stock stuff from a 98 v6 camaro and use an aftermarket lid. will this clear a stock hood. or will a box and lid from a LT1 styled TA work better. please help with any links and such. i hate the look of a CAI!!!!

i know that the regular airbox will fit under the ws6 hood on an lt1. i dont have a clue about the stock hood tho.
