How compatible is the LT1 to a SBC?

How compatible is the LT1 to the Gen 1 SBC?
I know the cam, block, heads, and opti are unique to the LT1 but what about intakes, headers, and other bolt on components? (talking about what fits the block not what fits the F body)
How about the rotating assembly, valves, push rods, lifters and valve springs?
I tried a search but got too much non relevant threads, pages and spam to put together a conclusion.

Any SBC intake manifold can be made to work with the LT1, but they must be converted (a bit pricey but becoming more and more common). No SBC will bolt right on without modification.
Any SBC headers will also work, but be aware that the LT1 used D-shape exhaust ports. As long as the header isn't blocking any parts of the exhaust port they will work (and bolt up) just fine.
These are just a few things off the top of my head. Others will chime in I'm sure.
