Question How can I tell who made my Cat Back?

I brought my car used and it came with a Cat-Back but I do not know what kind nor what brand. Can anyone help me out so I can find what kind/brand of Cat-Back I have?

Is it on the car, or still in a box? What does it look like, size of pipes and muffler?

Quickest way is to take a picture and let's have a look-see! If the system is stainless steel, that narrows it down greatly.

Those are Stock Z28 Tips. They look just like that but not Chrome.

Are you sure it's an aftermarket Cat-Back, or you just think it is.

maybe you just have an aftermarket muffler, if its loud and silver its prolly a flowmaster, however if its black youve got yourself a keeper baby... Hooker AEROCHAMBER

I was told it was, but I have never seen an stock setup underneath a Camaro. However if it is stock then it is the loudest stock exhaust setup I have ever heard.

Well, I crawled underneath my car and on the bottom of the little muffler box thing it had written "Patent Pending" and it said "Made in Mexico." So that does not really help that much at all. It was dark outside so I will look again when during the day and jack up the car and look every where and maybe take some pics.

If it's about 4 feet long, it's the stock muffler!

They are HUGE!!!

Ok do you mean 4 feet wide or 4 feet long? I don't know if this helps but when you knock on it is sound solid and it is kind of big know that I think about it.

about 4 feet wide, 1 foot high, 2 or 3 feet in depth...that help? What makes it seem kinda loud MIGHT be an exhaust leak, or a bad cat...that happened with my moms truck. She had a tahoe and the cat went bad, heh, it sounded MEAN!
