Hey, i was thinking of getting long tube headers for my 94 Z28 and then running straight pipes through the back? is it hard to build my own exhaust, ill be buying the headers though. would this sound comparable to the headers with the slp loudmouth exhuast when the resonator is cut off and replaced with pipe? heard of some doing that, well how will this car sound? any ideas on how i should do it? thanks.

 

Get the long tubes, a custom Y pipe, and a good cat back. Much simpler.

 

I agree, and custom making one at a muffler shop aint that expensive either. Save you self the headache and have them do it. Quick as hell. I had them make me a custom Y-pipe and remove my catz. Took 30 mintues and cost 100 bucks.
