How big of piping....

I'm wanting to get some Edelbrock long tube headers. When I get them I want to get some bigger piping how big can I go before it starts to loose back pressure and loose HP... Also do you all like the Edelbrock long tube headers? or is there a better header out there. BTW I have a 96' Z28 if you all need to know...

I have a chart around here somewhere, but can't find it....

Anyway, I believe it said that (for around the power a bolt on car makes) a single exhaust should be 3 inchs and a duel should be 2.5.

I also never saw edelbrock Long tubes, but some good ones are hooker, jet hots, flps.
