Well my car has had an exhaust leak for months now (haven't gotten around to putting the long tubes on). A few days ago I herd an new noise and after driving 20 miles or so it has gotten much worse. Sounds like it is coming from the drivers side valve cover. see vid. As a side note every time I hit the breaks I lose oil pressure. I believe that the oil pick up line has fell off I can here it banging around it I hit the oil pan like someone else suggested. Why do you guys think this noise is??? I’m kind of afraid to ask.

Pull the valve cover and see if all the rockers are tight and getting oil. Sounds like it is missing too. Any smoke out the exhaust?

Have ya checked under the cover?

 

sounds like a rocker, take a long scrwe driver hold it up to your ear and go around the valve covers see if hte sounds gets louder at certain areas.
