i went from 3.23 to 2.73. nice loss of fun, slight gain in mpg. nothing worth the loss of power though. shifting into 3rd and breaking traction with a stock A4 and new tires is something i miss

If you go to 3.73's with an auto you'll loose a couple mpg in the city and probably 3 or so on the highway...

How good/bad is it? With 2.73s, you should be getting the best highway mileage that any A4 could get. From what I have read, most people get 27mpg or more on the highway with 2.73s.

Man you need a tune up, I'm getting close to 28-30. Try a tune first.
