Most '95s got an obd1 w/ the obd2 style connector. I may have an AKM style cable for what you need. PM me if you're interested.

There is an autox-ray scanner that i rented at o'reillys that pulled codes and cleared them. Yes all 1995 to my knowledge came with the obd2 plug and obd1 computer. Check out EBAY for the scanner. They run about $175, but u can use them on any vehicle and it comes with all the plugs for obd1, obd2, ford, gm, chrysler, import. Its the best bang the for the buck. I would have bought one, but one of the stores had one to rent. Go that route. It a very basic scanner though. nothing to major (like the ones at the dealer or anything) It should tell u what u need to know. Autozone $hit sucks. Dont buy that one.

The dealer wanted almost a $1000 to do my opti. I said the hell with you. I did it myself for $100 (cap and rotor). I had a hookup at o'reillys though. Try the autoxray first, then resort to towing.

I was in the market for a different scanner but I got a good deal on the Actron.
Its not the best but it works and for me thats what matters.
