Hotcam springs work w/ CC305

Hotcam springs work w/ CC305
I can buy an LT4 hotcam kit minus the cam for pretty cheap. Why question is will this setup work w/ the CC305 cam? Also is anyone running the 306 w/ stock gears and heads. Oh yeah all of this is going on a 92 vette w/ headers, exhaust, CAI, chip and has the stock 3.45 gears.

No those springs will not work. My builder would not even use those springs on the LT4 HOTcam. He said they were too inadequate, and if I'm not mistaken the CC305 has a higher lift than the HOTcam.

NO! Do not use the LT4 springs. The are barely adequate for the Hotcam at best. I have seen several break and drop valves using just the hotcam.
Crane and Comp Cams have springs that are reasonably priced that will work well with the 305.
