I have decided to go a different route with my car. Does this setup look like 12s?

Also, if I got the 275 size z06 rims, would it effect speedo?

 

Right now I'm hitting 12.9 and that is without my 3.73 gears and suspension mods. I figure mid 12's are possible next year when I have my 3.73's installed and some suspension work done (1.8 60 fts. with just Et Streets).

The Eibach sportline kit will more than likely kill your 60 ft.

 

What would you recommend for springs that has a good balance of street and track performance(road coarse, and 1/4 mile)?

 

Hotchkis springs have a nice balance. I cut 1.57 60' with these springs. They drop the car 1"

you should see mid 12's with some suspension, i got a 13.1@106 last weekend, with the worst conditions you can think about, my suspension was sat up completely wrong, full tank of fuel, 2.73's and launching at idle.
60' was 1.8x.

forgot to say that I was runing on the stock tune, stock shift points and really bad fuel. :s)

 

I would say low 12's easy. I am running a 12.5 at 107 on the hotcam and similar mods. except I still have stock 3:23 gears.

 

I got 12.9 @110 with a hot cam kit and long tube headders and pcm4less tune.

 

Does anyone know where the cheapest place to get the Lt4 kit is? ( I saw a post from 2002, and the kit was in the mid $300s. What a great example of how our economy is rapidly going to sh*t)

 

I paid $600 for mine through Summit and that is with all the gaskets needed, oil & filter, coolant.

 

how long did it take to install?

 

About ten hours from start to finish.

I had no suspension work and had bigger valves and a gasket match done to the heads. Car went:
12.85 @ 108 w/ 1.99 60 ft. n/a
12.28 @ 110 w/ 1.76 60 ft. n/a with a PI stall
11.33 @ 118 w/ 1.53 60 ft. and NX 100 shot

 

I read another thread that said hotchkis didnt do a good job on the rear springs for the camaro
