hotcam installed

got my hotcam done today and cranked it up and it sounded stock, I didnt give it a chance to warm up, do they always sound like that cold, I was like wtf this sounds the exact same.also I got rid of the air and didnt throw an ses light whats up with that?

im talkin it sounds exacktly like it did, maybe im just flippin out but the car wasnt warm at all, I let it run for prolly 45 seconds and shut it off, this was 45 min. ago

well if you still have a stock exhaust with muffler and cat... you prolly won't notice differences... you need to get a aftmkt exhaust system before you start hearing things... also you need it to let things like a cam give you more power... gotta flow dude

im sure it was just cause it was still in fast idle and hadnt been cranked in 2 weeks

Ditto, it was probably revving too high to hear the cam if you just started it for the first time in a few weeks. After a few minutes of warming up, the idle should drop, then you can hear it cammin

A friend has the LT4 hotcam and we can hardly hear that it has a cam....now at the track it performs very well, but just sounds tame.
