Maybe eventually, but this is down the road aways....first i have to get a new hood because of an accident, so im getting the SS hood to do it right, then i gotta repaitn my front end, then i was thinking either LT's or the hot cam, and get the other one a couple of months later. After the cam install, will the car still be drivable or will i have to get it tuned or reprogrammed right away?

you will need to get it programmed my man. Hey don't sweat it. Get yourself a manual and ask the brothers here for help. It aint as had as you think. Look at my sig. Before Aug. I never went into an engine aside from a motorcycle. I did all the work on this myself with the help of the brotheres here on the board. yo'd be supprised what they'd do to help a fellow fbod enthusiast.

 

I would never trust a shop to do anything like a cam swap or rockers...too many things they can do wrongs..And I'm talking about pulling ou things to get to the block. I did once get it priced though and it was like $800.00 I'd take that and pay myself $2.99 for a Burrito and go to work.

 

do it yourself! it may seem daunting, but you have everyone on here, and most people have done the same stuff, so they are able to help you out just from description on message.
