I'm contemplating on doing the hotcam install myself (with some help) over a weekend! Does anyone have a good write up on a cam, rockers, valve springs etc..new opti..etc... I don't have much experience but also would like to gain some experience

sooo what's the average time it would take for a such a task?

I used that guide as a reference when I did mine along with a Haynes manual for specs. All together I guess it would have taken me 2-3 days to do mine but I worked on it off and on some weekends last winter so I don't know the exact amount of time it took. I would set aside a full 3 day weekend to the project if it is your primary transportation. Good luck!

 

Thank you wow, there's alot involved for a cam swap. Hmmm, since it's my daily driver I just might have a shop do this one. Who knows How i'll feel in a couple months (still buying all the parts)
