Sweet numbers with the A4 and Hotcam.

How do you like the driveability and sound? Is the engine itself much noisier with the hood popped?

Congrats!

Dan

Thanks.

Driveability is not changed much, sounds nice too. As far as noise under the hood, not bad as long as your rockers are adjusted properly.

stock tune or? those seem about right i think

i would also think the Hotcam would make peak power a lil bit higher then that too, or am i mistaken?

PCM4Less Tune, with a little changes done by myself.

I had 290rwHP before the Longtubes on a Dynojet. Looks like I picked up a cool 30rwHP & rwTQ! On a Mustang Dyno too

Next, LE Heads and bigger cam

A4 or M6?
edit: oops, saw that you have an A4. Nice!

I've seen upwards of 335-ish rwhp on an M6, but that was on a dynojet..

nice numbers though The hotcam is definitely a good balance between streetability and power. When I had my car running, it was like having all the fun, low end kick and torque of the LT1 with the topend pull of an LS1. Definitely not a bad mod for $450.

Also, I'm not too sure about LE heads, a couple people I know have seen LE heads flow only slightly better than stock.

Want some good heads? PM "Skaradom" and ask about his heads. A local buddy here (Dr. Mudge) made 411rwhp on a medium-ish cam and phil's heads - stock bottom end, no problems. And that was on a mustang dyno.

PICTURE ON THE DYNO

Lid? Yeah MTI Lid. I have an LS1 Front end conversion and SS Hood. So I retro fitted the airbox in conjunction.

Oh yeah, I don't have the LT4 heavy duty timing set, so I only took it up to 5700. Maybe I could've made more?

Another guy that went with us made an shattering 519rwHP with his lighty modified 03 Cobra! That thing sounds like a jet when it flies by

No member named Skaradom. Maybe you mispelled it? I tried looking but couldn't find anything similar.

Na, he changed his boardname to Ai (Advanced Induction) BTW, why the fake SS?

*You probably won't really make any good power above 5700, I'd keep it.
