Re: Horsepower guess

Well you have some good flowing heads there and a healthy cam. I would guess 425-430 RWHP with lots of torque.

Re: Horsepower guess

Id say about the same as above, but there would be more in it if you nailed the tune dead on...which takes time. And the torque should be up there also.

Re: Horsepower guess

Might want to give out your compression, to help on the estimates.

I think you might have trouble making 400rwhp, if you don't port the intake further. Stock lt4 intake ports are pretty small compared to the ports on the AFRs you'll be getting. You need to do more than just gasket matching.

CR: 11.0:1

When you guess the RWHP do not forget that I have T56 and 10 bolt rear.. (minimum drivetrain lose)

thanks

Re: Horsepower guess

My guess is around 410 - 435 rwhp with good tq. Based on some of your other recent guesstimates, you're probably expecting 475-500 rwhp...not gonna happen..sorry.

Re: Horsepower guess

Just curious...are you more interested in kick-*** dyno numbers, or how well it performs in the real world (where the comparison is more relevant)? With a T56, you know you're going to actually have to know how to drive it to post impressive times.

I'm not trying to be an ***...a dyno queen is just not impressive to me. The guys making 'only' 350rwhp and running 11.XX with 1.6X 60-foot times in an M6 is impressive - that takes skill and the right combination.

No why you said that? I expect 430 - 450 rwhp, but I will not be sad if I see ~420rwhp because I will use 200 wet shot nitrous.

Okay İn my country there is 2 tracks .. (drag race place) Here there are lots of 900-1000 rwhp lt1s, ls1s, ls2s but they drive their monsters on streets. Yeah I know you built your cars especially for drag races. I wish I could be there, but I'm not.
Any way 1/4 or 1/8 times are meaningless because I will probabily never get the car to the track.. I built my car for daily street use and race on highway (rolling).. For that reason I didn't upgrade my 10 bolt to 12 Bolt, I will not get the slicks
I don't want to be a dyno queen. I hope I could explained my situation..

sorry for bad spelling..

Deniz

Re: Horsepower guess

Is there something less street-friendly about a 12-bolt?
