If you want high flow, get a SLP Loudmouth. Cheap, VERY high flow, and a unique sound to it. Some hate it, Some love it.

If you want high flow, and the best sound you can buy, get the GMMG cat back.

Or you can do what I did, which I love, but might not sound as good on a car that doesnt lope hard. I have Pacesetter long tubes, Off Road Y Pipe, then right where the Y comes into one, I have a 3" cut-out. Still have it hooked up to my flowmaster catback. It still gives it that flowmaster rumble, but flows better than any of the other catbacks out there would since it has a 3" dump. And at WOT, it sounds WHICKED. Best $25 I have ever spent. I got the Summit brand cut out. The bolts arent welded to the cutout though so I tacked them in place so I can just use the wing nuts if I ever put the plate back on. And yes, I drive mine everywhere with it open. Since i put the cut out on, I have not closed it up. Its loud, almost "arrest me" loud, but not quite. Ive yet to get pulled over for it so I guess its not too obnoxious.

I will just say that flowmaster doesnt flow worth a ****, my car dynoed 349rwhp through the muffler and 375rwhp through the cutout.

That's funny 'cause my car only picked up maybe 7hp/tq dynoing with an open cut out vs. through the flowmaster. For comparison my buddy's car has a magnaflow and only picks up 3hp/tq with the cutout open.

To me for the price difference I'd say the flowmaster flows pretty damn well.

Honestly, I cant tell a difference in performance with mine open or closed. Its something I really want to confirm when I get her on a dyno.

And +1 to the guys who suggest nitrous. Nothin beats it bang for the buck, and its WAY more reliable than most people think if you set it up properly/with safety equipment.
