Hopefully my final VATS question. :)
Hopefully my final VATS question. :)
Okay, I just bought a '96 Z28 and it has been setting the code 1626 anti-theft system fuel enable circuit. The car will start and run good, but only after a lot of cranks
. I look under the dash to find my orange tubing with the two VATS wires in it. When I take the reading from the dash side connector (end going to BCM) and my multimeter set on 20K, it reads -10.43. What is up with it reading negative??? To enhance my problem, the BCM is not the original. The previous just grabbed another BCM from a wrecked car. How can I read what value the other BCM's resistance code is at? Or do I need to go out and buy a lot of resistor's at Radio Shack and test until one combination works? Thanks for any help!
