Does anyone know where sound clips can be found of both? I think thats the best way to decide which you like.

I have the hooker. went in easy, fits nice, looks great, and is definately one of the nicest sounding exhaust's i've heard. Not TOO loud, but it growls above 2000rpm and turns alot of heads. good luck

Nice hooker clip, but I'd like to hear what it sounds like with more aggressive revs as well. Sounds good at idel. Alot more refined than my flowmaster.

Anyone have magnaflow clips?

Hey kev how long have you had ur hooker catback for. How is it holding up. Looks wise. I heard they rust really fast. But i don't know if we will have the same problem over here in california as they do back east.

I just have finished purchasing a hooker cat-back for my 96. The fit is great and looks good. It is very quiet at idle, maybe even quieter then stock. There is no interior resonance but when you open your windows and get on it seems great.

I still haven't had the chance to see how it sounds with my top down. But so far I'm very pleased and seems to have a little more power.

I'm not sure if it will get louder over time ? anyone seen a difference ?? Also how long does this burning paint smell last for ?

Well i have a magnaflow on my car right now and its almost embarrassing. It is so raspy and unrefined its sickening. Right now my car is a little rich (probably normal for our cars) and I have my cat deleted. At idle it sounds ok. When I jump on it and get off, all I have to say is GLASSPACKS!! People laugh at how it sounds. I bought a hooker super comp cat back and will find out how that sounds. The magnaflow on my car has the stock tips on it, i dont know if aftermarket tips will make a difference. Corsa sounds the best from what i've heard in person, but its definitely expensive.

Hey drewstealth, do a search on magnaflow at this site somebody will have some sound clips. When i was searching I found more people like their magnaflow then hated it. The final decision comes down to you. Both are good systems. I went with the magnaflow because I like the look and it is free flowing.
Plus I have alot of friends with high end cars and the like the system. My friend has a 2000 ss. He went with me to have the system installed. And he went crazy over the sound and look. He ordering one for his car.
