Hooker super comp supposed to be broke???

I know this sounds like a dum@ss question but i bought had a set of Dynatech longtubes before these and they weren't broke. I just now noticed it, but the #1 primary tube on the right bank header is seaparated at the flange and can pull away from the rest of the header. is it supposed to be like this, if so why?

Yup. It's "supposed" to make installtion easier. There really isn't anything easy about installing long tubes though.
