Are hooker or pacesetters better longtubes
Re: Are hooker or pacesetters better longtubes
theres a thread on here with pics of both...alota peoiple say pacesetters look stronger thicker walls, flanges i think they are better...but i have hookers
Re: Are hooker or pacesetters better longtubes
The main thing that geared me to get the Pacesetters over the Hookers was that Pacesetter makes a pair of long tubes that have the EGR and AIR fittings on it.
Re: Are hooker or pacesetters better longtubes
I would honestly go with the jethott over either of those, coated headers are way better than the uncoated, that is unless you are getting a deal on coated pacesetters
Re: Are hooker or pacesetters better longtubes
I don't think the coating makes much of a difference on the LTs.
Pacesetter has certainly improved their image and quality over the years.
Hooker has always made a great product
Kooks makes what are arguably considered the best headers available.

Between Hooker and Pacesetter I would get coated Pacesetter's. Good quality for less than other manufacturers. I am currently running uncoated Pacesetter's and I love them, only thing I would change would be to get them coated.

I have Hooker LTs and I love em. I got them coated by a local machine shop with a spay-on aluminum coating. Look kick *** and the aluminum helps disapate some heat. I also love the way the Hookers sound, they have the famous Hooker rack back when you let off at 3000+rpm, I find my self wasting gas just to hear it. lol
