Hooker? Magnaflow?

Hooker Cat-Back?

Magnaflow Cat-Back?

Which one? Need opinions. Which Sounds Better? Which one has better performance? which one doesn't start sounding like crap after time? which one will last longer?

I have to get a new system...the stock one i got now is fallin apart.

If i go magnaflow, the guy i can get is from is selling it for 330 brand new, with a new high flow cat(which i also need/want) and free shipping. whereas i can get the hooker from my local parts store for 252.88 + cat.

So lemme know what ya'll think.

the hooker from what i hear will be louder and probably ahve a nicer tone, but if your getting them for the same price more or less i would consider the magnaflow because i believe they are stainless? hmm.... i guess i didnt help ya any, lmao

If money is an issue the hooker wins hands down, but if you have cash to blow the magnaflow is a nice peice as far as the expensive staineless ones go, I like the hooker better soundwise, but the magnaflow in my opinion has a sound all its own (but not bad). I have had both the flowmaster and hooker, and my neighbor has the magnaflow. the hooker definatley sounds better with a cam, but the magnaflow is quieter until WOT. the flowmaster sounds ok, but the hooker blows it away there.

i personallly think the magnaflow sounds better

the hookers are well known for rusting out. the MF is either stainless or aluminized...

the MF is pretty mellow at idle, but it screams at wot

I've got the Hooker catback, Hooker Y-pipe, and Hooker LTs, and the car sounds wicked.

Hooker all the way.

I can see it rusting if you drive alot on salty roads, but I've had mine for over 6 years and its still rust free.

I was running a Flowmaster cat back on my car. Then I went to true duals. My friend has the Hooker cat back with Jet Hot LTs. His setup sounds very nice, I would go with the Hooker.

Hooker sounds better, but the Magnaflow will last longer (SS), trade more of one for less of the other....If the Magna comes with a cat that will fit then get that so you dont fug around with finding a cat that fits. Custom fitted ones tend to run quite a bit.

I have heard both systems. I personally think that the hooker catback sounds a lot better. That is why i went with it. The magnaflow will last a lot longer since it is SS though. So unless u live in a snowy area that puts a lot of salt on the ground then i would go with the Hooker.

So the hooker is louder? I dunno since I've never heard it in person. I may want to quiet my car down in the future and thought maybe hooker was the way to go.

The hooker is a bit louder then the Magnaflow and smoother sounding. The Magnaflow is a bit raspier and pops more then the hooker. At least is was on the cars i have heard with these systems.
