Hooker LT - Emissions - GMMG catback?
From what I understand Long tubes will produce more gain than shorties. For this reason I'm planning on a set of tuned Hooker LT's. I've got a few questions though.
Emissions: Smogging your car in CA is a total pain. They require a CARB number for parts such as intake/headers. I'm sure members in other states have had to deal with this as well. Are Hooker LT's CA emissions legal? Will there be any problem passing the visual?
Setup: I don't quite know how far back the LT's reach. Since I'll be running my GMMG catback system, does Hooker make a Y-pipe that will accomadate this? Will I need to move my cat or possibly run two cats? I figure most guys running Hooker LT's just run true duals but I'd like to keep my GMMG and I need to keep my cat. Your responses are appreciated. Thanks.
