Hooker or Loudmouth

Looking for an exhaust, see the mods below and give some advice on which system would sound the best. I love the way it sounds stock, but I think I could get more agressive with a catback system. Any input would help. Thanks in advance to all who reply.

HOOKER! No doubt about it. I had a Loudmouth with stock manifolds and loved it, but I hated it with my headers. I switched to the Hooker catback and I think it sounds perfect with my headers.

Re: Hooker or Loudmouth

Ended up putting a dynomax super turbo on the end of my LM - too much when you start adding mods. Once the cam and LT headers went on I was miserable with the LM.

Loudmouth if you want it to sound like a P-51 Mustang

Hooker if you want something with a stock sounding idle plus some rumble/roar when you open it up.

Aaron I still have stock tips if you want them. I keep forgetting. Let me know.

I like my loudmouth, not many people do when they add headers. It is very loud, every day people tell your car is f'ing loud especially at WOT it sounds like an uncontrollable beast. Remember it is loud and the majority of people don't like the sound.

Re: Hooker or Loudmouth

If you like stock then you could always leave it stock and just add a cutout. It sounds every bit as loud as the loudmouth but the added feature is you can tame it down any time you want.

I vote for the Hooker. It sounds great all around and if you want to go louder you can always just add a cutout.

Have you considered the Magnaflow? Price point similar to the Hooker ($280), but the Magnaflow is stainless steel. Might come in handy since you live in Iowa.

Just throwing it out there for you.
