Hooker longtubes over the hooker shorties i have now??

Hey guys i currently have a 1995 firebird formula with the following mods. Cai, hooker shorties, offroad pipe, cutout, borla, moser 12 bolt, 3.73's, 2800 stall, shiftkit, underdrive pulley, and its been dropped on 17X91/2 inch torq thrust 2's. First off i must say that these headers blow. I didnt get much of a sotp difference at all and they did not do anything for my et or mph at the track. Ive heard people saying to just go ahead and open up the collectors on the hooker shorties more witha die grinder for 5-10 more rear wheel horsepower and all but it still seems that the longtubes will make a decent amount more power than that set-up will. middle to top of thrid is where she really begins to run out of breath and i was thinking that the longtubes would take care of that for me. What do u guys think? Worth it to switch up to longtubes or not??

P.S. I dont care that ill scrape with my car being lowered. Doesent bother me, not getting the full potential out of my headers is what matters most.

Thanks,
Heath

You'll definately get more power from the long tubes...and if you plan on doing engine mods its the only way to go
