Hooker Guys...
Hooker Guys...
Which set of LT's if any did you use? Which Y?
I'm gonna use Pacesetter LT's and probably the Pacesetter Y, that means I keep my cats right? I was under the influence that LT's dismantle the Cats... but then I read that someone had their cats with their LT's to get rif of the popping sound... hrm
Anyway, all the hooker guys are very pleased with their performance/sound right? I forgot, is the hooker Stainless?

How much did the high flow cat cost?
How do you like your sound?
Did everything click together smoothly?
I hope all the Pacesetter equipment will do the same, considering I heard they have a very similar setup.

I use jet-hot long tubes, hooker Y pipe and hooker catback. Just stuck a 3" high flow cat at the end of the Y pipe. Works fine I guess, but it's going when the new motor gets put together

I have Jet Hot LT's waiting to be installed, but I'm kinda waiting to find a solution to run cats with them. I want cats but I thought I was going to have to install two of them. How does yours run with just one at the end of the Y? And how is the clearance/fit?

Great power. Sounds awesome opened up. Relatively mild at idle. Not as mild with the big cam now, but still reasonably quiet for the motor that's in the car. LOUD wide open, and very clean and hollow sounding.
Nothing clicked together at all. The Y-pipe is BOLTED to the headers, instead of the slip-fit like the pacesetter crap
. The rest of the exhaust (cat and catback) is 100% welded.

http://redlineperformanceengineering.com/ sells PaceSetter lt's for the LT1
The Hooker is supposed to be pretty quiet cruising right? But sick at WOT? With LT's that is... and... how hard is it to install high-flow cats with LT's?
Is the Hooker cat stainless steel?
