hooker cat-back...hows it sound?

Ok..i was lookin at the hooker catback sytem. I need something really quiet(long tubes and >gm847) just something thats very very quiet at idle and sounds good on the go. I will be putting a cutout behind the exhaust for the track..and whenever i feel like annoying the world. I just need something VERY quiet for the sound ****'s in connecticut. any other ideas?borla is overpriced

Hooker's not bad, but overall the mildest sounding exhaust I've heard at idle or mild acceleration (in Hooker's price range) is Dynomax or Gibson, but I'm not sure if Gibson makes a cat-back for F-bodies. I have a Gibson on my Durango and even at WOT the Cold-air kit is still slightly louder.

i love mine. nice and deep, under 2500rpm its quiet, but when you get up there it makes some decent noise

Re: hooker cat-back...hows it sound?

take my word for it...hooker aerochamber mufflers are mean..trust me you will love it and so will anyone who pulls within 100 feet of you

i used to think my 40 series flowmaster was the best sounding untill the hooker.

with your setup it will sound sick...but healthy (wait thats an oxymoron)
