holeshot w/ nitto's

im about to get nitto dr's, and i was wanting to know if anyone had sprayed off the line with them...if so, what kind of 60' should i expect? are these going to hook hard enough to break my stock rearend w/ fresh 3.73's and a 2500 stall?

I always spray off the line.... I was pulling 1.7xx short times before my tranny went. But that's all fixed now.

Re: holeshot w/ nitto's

I have trouble hooking what i have right now......60' in sig. That is with a little wheel spin. Do you have suspension mods? I plan on getting some LCA and brakets and drop that 60' to a 1.6XX. You won't be able to spray directly out of the hole---you are going to have to wait to get above 20mph probably, because i spin my nittos at 15 on the street. So taking into acount it's a track and preped.......you will get a little better traction, but then you will be spraying probably 100+shot......I would think it would be higher than what i can spin them on the street....so probably around 25-30mph would be a good time to spray

As for breaking your rear-end--I highly doubt it, expecially if you use a solid pinion spacer. These things just don't get the bit needed to break an automatic trans car's rear-end----to much give in the tranny and converter. You'd be fine.
