Hissing sound from under the hood. Sounds like vaccuum leak?

Anyone know what this could be? A loud continous hissing sound coming from under the hood. I can't really pinpoint, but it sounds like it's coming from around the area circled below.

The engine is acting normal, just this noise. Sounds like a vaccuum line has been cut, and it's sucking air in... Although wouldn't that make the engine run like crap?

Any ideas? Thanks for any and all help!

going out on a limb here.... but check the elbow. They always get folded under and you don't even realize it. Mine did that once and the car idled perfect. The only time i noticed a problem was when i hit the gas. It would hesitate then go.

Just a thought :-\

Check elbow....

MAP sensor is right on top, rubber gommet might be torn/worn...

Also, EGR sensor is in that location, has vacuum lines
