I've been having this problem ever since i got my headers and moroso induction system. Basically what happens is if I lay on it my car picks up really fast but then my RPM's will shoot up to alittle over 6,000 and it sounds like it's working the heck out of my engine then it seems like it's never going to shift and bogs down so i let off the gas then it will shift, but it kind of makes a popping noise through my exhaust (my guess is because of the gutted cat). I'm curious as to why my car doesn't seem to want to shift when I get on it. I don't want to let it keep reving because I think it would probably go to over 7,000 RPM's before it even shifts and then at that point probably blow my engine. any suggestions? sorry so long.
