An ICM is the Ignition Control Module. Usually an ICM problem is associated with heat. However, it could be your problem.

If it's the ICM, would it work like this. While cold get miss at 6800.. if hot does it at 6200? Is that possible?

Usually, if you have an ICM problem, as the operating temperature goes up the problem becomes worse. From what you've said I would say you very well could have a problem with the ICM, but don't rule out something else.

I'll test it with my friends on Friday, I'm also gonna check my vacum tubes. Someone else posted that could be a problem and I know those are messed up.

My ICM has 110k miles on it, so really wouldn't suprise me and maybe I'll just change it for good measures.

They aren't to terribly expensive. And it won't hurt your problem

From what Ive always been told ICM's are either good or bad. They dont slowly die on you...

I agree with 96z. When mine went the car was running fine then all of a sudden just died while going down the highway. Wouldnt fire back up.
