Hi-Res Failure when I plug in an injector box?

Currently i have in 36# injectors, but when i switch to my 72# high impedance injectors they require an injector box. So when I run the plug wires thru the box the SES light comes on with a Hi-res Failure (Ill forget the code #). Anyone with an injector box have this problem? or any ideas? Thanks

Why on earth would you want to use 72# injectors?!?!?!?!?!?! Let's look at the formula for injector sizing. HP= flow rate(lb/hr) * number of injectors * duty cycle (use 0.8) divided by BSFC (use 50%).

With your set up of parts, if your pulling 400HP with a perfect tune you'de be lucky. By using the formula above, a 36 pound injector will support 460HP.

If you go to such a large injector, you will never get the engine to idle because the pulse width would have to be narrower than the PCM could manage and you will be running too rich. Leave well enough alone and make more power to get better use out of the injectors your using now.
