HI-flow cat or no cat ?

My plan of attack is doing a full edelbrock exhaust headers and rpm muffler set up. My question is should I get a HI-flow cat or just take the whole thing out?
Would I get more power if i just took it all out ?
Will it effect my pcm obd1 ?

No emissions! Screw the Edelbrock stuff, they most youll gain from both is 23rwhp, its very pathetic. Get some longtubes and a highflowing exhaust. You'll see better gains than from those tiny edelbrocks. Horsepower TV did a show with adding all edelbrock exhaust stuff and they came up with 23rwhp or less. Most good catbacks get you 10-15 rwhp and that leaves the headers gaining like 10rwhp. Forget that and gain over 23 rwhp from longtubes alone!

If not for the sound and power alone, don't get hi-flows because of the price.

I was charged $245 for a Magnaflow polished hi-flow. No emmisions = NO CAT

I vote no cat. Use the $200 or so dollars on other mods and spend a few bucks to put a straight-pipe where the cat is.
