Hey Shoebox........
I do not know you , but i have been here for a long time..(just recently registered) and have noticed your extensive knowledge of the lt1 cars.
I have a question for you . i have an adjusxtable fuel pressure regulator, it was set by the people who put it on the car, a looooong time ago at 40 psi. it will hit like 41 maybe 42 psi on wot. should i be running more pressure or what? my mods are in my sig.
if I should, can you please tell me how in the devil to adjust it?
that is the one thing on the car i have never touched, ever.
thanks in advance for your help or anyone else that decides to chime in.

I am not an expert in the matter, but 41-47 psi are the factory specs when the vacuum line is off of the regulator (same effect WOT has). Idle pressure does not need to be that high and the regulator adjusts it lower (that is what the vacuum line is for).
You should be fine, especially if you are not experiencing any problems. There should be some sort of adjusting screw on your regulator if you want to play with it.

Im not experiencing any problems to note actually. I was Just curious. it never goes above 42, at idle it is 39 to 40. then at wot it is 42 . i dont feel like it is starved up top in the rpms. and it feels strong, i just wanted to make sure i was ok with that, as i am NOT an adept person with that aspect of the engine.
thanks for your reply
