just wondering if there is a faq site for the lt1 engine like all those acroynums you guys use

I don't know of a site, but here are a few off the top of my head..

TB - throttle body
SLP - Street Legal Performance, company that sells performance parts for f-bodies and now mustangs also.. www.slponline.com
CAI - cold air intake
cat - catalytic converter
lt4 - basically a step up from the lt1, better heads and such so it put out more hp..
A4 - automatic, 4-speed transmission
M6 - manual, 6-speed transmission
M5 - manual, 5-speed.. you get the idea
LSD - limited slip differential

There's some off the top of my head.. Are there any that you've seen that you don't know that I left off?

 

Oh yeah, SBC.. I've never seen it used before, so this is just a guess.. But how about Small Block Chevy? That seems to fit and make sense, so can anyone confirm it or correct me if I'm wrong? But that's my best guess...

Besides, I don't think searching would help much.. You'd just get a bunch of threads with people USING the acronyms and you'd have to try to figure out what they meant..
