Hesitation under acceleration

Details about the set-up are in my sig. The problem is while accelerating(while normal driving, and hard acceleration), the engine seems to have a terrible miss, then without warning it will smooth out and pull hard like a good LT1 should. That can be sketchy in the rain. I sometimes get a lean right O2 code(I burned out the right header gasket and just got around to fixing that). The code comes and goes, but not in sync with the hestitation, which also comes and goes. I replaced the Opti last summer when the heads/cam went on. I re-used the MSD wires at that time which were only about 3 months old then. I'm going to try new plugs and wires soon. Any suggestions? Also, I STILL have the stock tuned ECM.

TTT for me!

Sorry guys, I am at a loss with this thing. I can't let my thread get lost under 20 "Which Muffler sounds the best?" posts.

Welcome to the club. I've had the same problem for a year now. I have a list a mile long of things I've checked or replaced.

You might want to get it scanned and see whats going on with your O2s.

I have my own scanner. I keep it plugged in so I can moniter everything. It's vary nice, not one of those ones that requires you to count blinks and decifer a code. It actually shows what is happening. My right O2 doesn't fluctuate like it is supposed to. So, I know it is bad. But I drove the car for a month with both O2's bad and it didn't do this. I'm gonna replace them again this weekend and see what happens(I'm sure nothing).
