Hesitation still there!!(Part 2)

Hey awhile ago i posted about my car hesitating when i stepped on it. Well every1 said to change my fuel filter and I did but it still hesitates!

when in OD i step on it, the car hesitates (kinda stumbles), and then kicks in the power, which seems less than usual. Like i said before i just got a tune up 2 years ago, serviced the transmission a month ago, and just changed the fuel filter.

It seems like something is holding back my car, i have to put my foot in it more and it feels like when you take your intake elbow slightly off. (I mean it feels like there is an air delivery prob). But i checked everything and its all good. K&N Filter was just reoiled a month ago, the vortech intake elbow is secure and has its sensor put in right. I dont know what it could be? faulty MAF? I dunno what to do!

Oh yeah no engine lights come on and no idling probs either.

I have the same problem as you, but when I was trying to fix it, My damn pushrod came off a lifter inside the frikkin motor. SO its broke down as of now.

I changed my fuel filter too, no fix. Get your fuel pressure tested(either get a gauge or take it to a shop, they wont charge you much). If you are low on fuel pressure than its most likely your fuel pump. ALso I hear some things that cause stumbling are bad injector(s)(Which I think is my problem)....bad coil, or plugs/wires.

Some ppl will elaborate on what i said im sure. But I say next step, get fuel pressure tested to rule out fuel pump.

Since you mentioned using a K&N, have you cleaned your MAF?
Also check plugs, wires, coil etc...the usual suspects...

meangreenta, it sounds like your tps may have a wear spot you should scan your car and see if you get a code for the tps

Check your throttle cable. If it's streched any, it will cause some hesitation.

Anyone know if a poly trans mount would cause false knock? I have this hesitation problem, and I know the mount makes my car shake like hell...

What kinda mount do you use? My ES poly mount shakes on hard braking only, and very little shaking at that.
