Here I come Z28! Old Engine.
Here I come Z28! Old Engine.
Okay guys, well you all finally convinced me that an older milage Z should run decent. I trust it more than that of an old honda engine. Hell my 2002 Civic had transmissions problem at 20K miles. But then it was my first manual transmission car, which I think had a lot to do with it.
I am really excited, I found a car in Orlando Florida for 4,500 dollars and 110K miles. Its black on black with a 6spd manual transmission. The fabric on the roof of the interior is gone, and the driver side power seat is not functional. It has a new alternator, an msd ignition, short shifter, new speakers, new tires, K&N typhoon intake, Moroso metal intake elbow, brand new battery.
What is a K&N typhoon intake? Is it just a filter, or an actual intake? Also has anyone heard anything about Moroso metal intake elbow or is it not worth mentioning.
The guy I talked was in college and wanted the money to work on a Suzuki Samuri (....yeah....wtf.). He seemed to know quite a bit about the car and how to take care of it.
When I get the car what should I do to make sure it is in top notch running order when I get it? I know to check the fluids when I get there to make sure the car has not been abused but other than that I am clueless.
By the way, I said its in Orlando Florida. I live in San Antonio Texas, over 1,000 miles away. I leave for florida on sunday night.
