help selecting cam for ported stock heads

i need help selecting a cam that works well with ported stock heads.il be useing the stock computer,so ill want it to peak out at about 6800.my engine specs are as follows:
billit splayed caps
eagle h beams 6.0
mahle power pack
scat 4340 3.48 crank
comp cams shaft rockers(overkill i know, but there so damn cool looking!)
fully ported lt1 intake
ported 342casting heads, flow @ .600 is 283 and 191
so what cam would work well peaking around 6500-6800?

You want it to peak at 6800 or you want to shift by 6800?

its a 95, so no emmisions,no cat and i got the block off kit for the egr and air.
i ported these! with a little help from a buddy.i spent 3 hours on each intake and 2 hours on each exaust.the exaust is ported out all ther way, where the intake is ported less.i did this because the intake flows so well.the valve pocket is seriouly ported out on both.these will prob crack, but then ill have an excuse to get some cnc lt4 or ported afr's.my neighbor works at mpg, they build nothing but crazy 2000+ hp drag engines for top teams in the midwest and all over, plus they can port.im going to drive the car on the street, but i dont want to leave anything on the table.only drivin to the track and maby to work once a week.id like to make peak power loe enough to shift below the 7000- 7200 rpm max for the stock computer, so i guess it should realy peak at about 6500.

thanks so much for all of your help.

Alot of people have had good results with "off the shelf" cams such as:

Comp XE 230/236
GM 847
GTP 5 and 6
COmp 306

Also call Crower they ground me a custom cam at one time in a 355, it was small but ran 90 MPH in the 1/8 mile with a weight of 3700 lbs. They put that cam into their "lineup"

take a look at comp's XFI grinds, I love the XFI grinds, they've got plenty of lift to take advantage of the heads.

Many good suggestions here. But, the best way to find the right cam is to try out different ones and see what the motor likes. Your not against swapping out cams at least half a dozen times, are you?

haha, if i have to.this started out as a blown head gasket so im not afraid to tear it apart a couple of times.i thought i would buy a extra block to slap some new bearings and rings in so i could just swap motors one weekend.next thing you know im buying shaft mounted rocker arms and splayed caps.you know how it goes.i think ill try out the 847 first though.it looks good w/ the extra exaust duration and lift,to get that nitrous out.

Yeah baby!!! Throw an extra pair of shorts in the glove box, just in case.
