help...seems slow, what gives

i have a 93 z with lt4 connversion kit and all the bolt on goodies, with 30lb injectors, and a new opti, and a madztune just got the car all together and its ok in first gear but if i mat it at a roll the rpms dont jump up and push me back in the seat as it should.
ive checked the fuel pressure around 44 at idle and 50 at wot has new plugs in it, and everything hooked up correctly that i can tell, car runs and idles great just doesnt seem like its hitting its power band at the right time, i havent installed a new stall yet could this be my problem? any help is appreciated thanks

My A4 can scream for a 20 mph stomp and not so much a little lower or higher. The car down shifts and sometimes it really goes and others not so much. If you have a manual if can be where you are in terms of rpm and speed when you do it. If it runs strong from a stand still all the way through i would not worry so much.

Question

let me rephrase this, if i have all these mods done, but still have the stock stall converter on, than will this mess with the power band throughout all the gears, so that im not getting 100% out of the car, or do i have some other issue going on thats making the car slow, because it feels slower now than it did when it was stock, and i know a new stall is suggested with the new cam and mods. let me know what you think thanks

Please list all the mods and the complete break down of the car. There is a signature section so it will be on every post. Do you have headers and high flow exhaust? The stock stall should be enough but can't hurt to upgrade. How many horses you think your running and do you have a 1/4 mile time?

93 camaro, 96 harness computer complete lt4 conversion kit on it with hotcam, 1.6rrs, 58mm tb, k&n cold air intake, new msd opti, msd 6al ignition, wires and coil, shorty headers no cats, borla exhaust, 30lb svo injectors, granetelli maf, ngk tr55 plugs, stock stall and 3.23 gears, madztune.
no 1/4 mile time, possible 340+-? hp, when i hit it, it seems like its a gear to high and just takes its time getting up, wish i could be more descriptive but i just dont know how else to describe it.

Shorty headers suck?

Mine is the same way. Feels slow, and only trapped 102. And its in an RX7.

Long tubes are a must, IMHO. Might really wake things up.

To mrmint69... a 102 trap on a supercharged car?

Damn. Yes I saw your short time.
