Help! Rough Idle in Open loop
Help! Rough Idle in Open loop
My car has been idling pretty rough since I got it, but especially now that I've changed the O2s when I did the header install. It only happens in open loop, and strangely the idle gets worse the longer I let it idle there. I KNOW the wires are good since I just did them about 2 weeks ago. Also I've changed the plugs maybe 5k miles ago too.
The car feels strong through all the rpm band, no hesitation or stumble, just has a really shakey idle. The rpms don't really seem to bounce around at all at idle either, maybe about 20rpm, buts its hard to tell its moving so little. Also I have 2 small rips at the base of my intake elbow, I'm going to replace it soon, but I don't think they're bid enough to hardly let any air in. Any ideas?
BTW, the opti was changed 15k ago, and the fuel filter about 5k ago.
Edit: I had a local meineke weld my y-pipe to the cat, and they had to remove the y to do the weld. I noticed that they rerouted the wires for the drivers side O2s when they reinstalled it.
