I'm building an lt1 into a 383 stroker
it's currently bored over .30 , i have no crankshaft, no pistons, no connecting rods etc.

I have $1000 to spend, i'm trying my best to put together a buncha parts that will work together and save me some money.

just curious if anyone here has built a budget 383 before, im not gunna use nitrous ever, its gunna be all motor always.

im most likely going to order from summitracing.. any one done this before and have some cool info, greatly appreciated, thanks.

PS. i already have heads & cam.

 

i have a set of pistons from summit that i have my eyes on, its for gen I motor it says 350 5.7 l, why wont this work with lt1? or will it? Can't i just use these, and get a 400 sbc crank?
