Question Help oildipstick

I just got headers installed for way cheap. Anway the oildipstick you can move it around is that dangerous one of my friends said it could blow oil out now, I thinking of going back over there and letting him put the bolt in it so it won't move what do you think???

Mine had some type of adhesive on it from the factory. It was hard though unlike silicone. Only had a small dab on it which I had to sand down to get it back in.

I had to take out mine twice, and I never even noticed if there was adhesive or not. I just replaced it in the hole, and I have never had any leaks, the tube goes in the pan pretty far so, I don't think it would leak.
