I had been driving for about 2hours, when I heard and felt the car start to miss (bucking). I looked down and saw the "service engine soon" light come on...

Pulled off the highway and poked around for a bit. Restart the car and it runs smooth (well as smooth as usual). Another restart or 2 and the service light goes out. Limping it back home was good for awhile but eventually hit the same scenario.

I put a delteq in a few years ago and I know that their reputation has soured since then, but the unit has given me about 50k miles of good service up to this point. From searching through other posts it seems like this can be a difficult problem to resolve.

I have a multimeter and some wrenches but thats about the extent of my kit, and I live in the city now (Boston) so working on my car is very limited. I would appreciate any suggestions or if anyone who could point me to a shop that wont be totally put off by the delteq. Thanks!
