What a trip, I grew up in San Mateo, Near Hillsdale. What kinda headers do you got, thats what I want, some headers but after this expensive ordeal, its gonna be a while before I can get anything. The mechanic also said that there is a lot of false knock being reported, Im pretty sure its cause of my LOUD *** exhaust so I gotta get an LT4 KM.

 

Wierd... My Fiance went to Hillsdale I went to SM High.

I'm running the slp (single cat). Its all we can do living with SMOG laws. What exhause are you running that's so loud? Usually you need headers to get false knock. Do you have a cut-out?
Its funny, the problem with my car started after I installed my headers. After you mentioning your problem was a spark plug both me and my brother thought back to when I droped a plug while trying to screw it into the head. I didn't think my prob was my plugs or wire becuase I changed the plugs & wires at the same time. So its possible that I messed up a plug during insallation.

 

I got a flowmaster but the guy I got it from said he had it modified and customized, whatever that means, I never really asked, but anyway, It roars. I could be wrong though about what is causing it though. Need to get my hands on an LT4 KM, got a place that gottem for 30 + 5 shipping, know anywhere better?

 

My car did this as a result of a Hypertech Unit causing my car to run lean , you may want to check your A/F

Check your fuel pressure

etc....

Dont just throw $$$ at it , that only works on women

 

Will a scanner (LT1 edit) or equivelant work to check A/F ratio and Fuel Pressure? Would it also tell me which cylinder is misfiring?
