Help me select lifters please!

Hey guys, trying to button this thing up. Down to lifters and pushrods. I understand pushrod length will come down to how much I had my heads milled, but as far as lifters go. I am looking at these part numbers from summit.

NAL-12499225
NAL-12371042
CCA-875-16
NAL-12371042

My cam is a 233/239 .577/.585 112 lsa

My springs are crane 10308-1 and the rockers i'll be using are 1.6 pro mags unless a sweet deal comes along.

Which would you recommend using? Or should I use a different one all together?

I plan on spinning the car to around 6400 rpm. It is an A4.

The CC OEM lifter, would probably suit you just fine.

Where did you get your cam from?

Its a comp grind. I bought it from a local member here on the board. Why?

Ah, if you bought from Comp, or an engine shop, Id just ask them. Since they did the grind, might not be a bad idea to ask Comp anyway. Comp makes a pretty good set, and Crane makes a pretty good one too.

Get a set of LS7 lifters. They are high quality, and cheap (~$125). Also for pushrods, I like TrickFlow chromemoly's.

How pricey? Unfortunately i'm working on a limited budget. If the LS7 are cheap and sufficient... they will be the route i'll take likely.

Are the LS7 lifters an exact replacement for the LT1? or what would it change in regard to pushrods?

Don't get too carried away worrying about lifters. Most of us just reuse originals if in good shape.
All the basic replacements from Crane, Comp, Federal Mogul, whatever are going to be just stock lifters anyway. There are only 2-3 lifter manufacturers and most sold are just rebranded.
LS7s are cheap giving them a benifit there but from what I hear are the same weight as stock so a performance benifit is unlikely.

Yes the LS7 lifters are a direct replacement for the LT1. Most people do not have to change pushrod length from stock unless the heads have been removed for any reason. I used stock length 7.2 comp magnums for my build. Since you are going to check for pushrod length anyways, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Another vote for the LS7 lifters and the trickflow chromemoly pushrods. Thats what I have and I love them. The lifters I bought at a local dealer. The pushrods I got from summit for like $85.
